Epoxy Injection is a
process which chemically welds concrete utilizing
a two part epoxy system. This procedure restores
the structural integrity of concrete.
Epoxy injection is successful in the repair
of concrete tie beams, slabs, columns, concrete
areas of bridges and tunnels as well as swimming
pool tanks. This process is achieved by hydro
boring the crack on center, at given intervals.
Placing the injection ports and sealing the
surrounding areas with epoxy gel. Epoxy resin
is injected, under pressure, into the ports,
thus filling/sealing this crack. Once injection
is completed, the exposed portion of the
port is removed and a seal coat of epoxy
gel is applied. Upon completion, these areas
may be coated by stucco, marsite, paint,
or other cementitious maters, as needed. |
